GOOD day!!

Its my nature to be grouchy, but I have to make a choice
to have a
great attitude no matter what comes my way!
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, kindess, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."
Galations 5:22

A love song....

Im loving all of Brooke Frasers songs lately. But this happens to be one of my most latest favorite songs. (Came out in 2004- it took me this long to find it!) The name of this song is Arithmetic.
You know...I dont know for sure, but I think this was a love song written to God. Now, there are some words in the song that throw me off to think that its not written to God. But the more I litsen to the lyrics, I find out it doesnt matter, its a song I can sing to the Lord and mean it. But really, I think its a love song to our God. So beautiful and the lyrics are amazing....I have included them at the bottom of this post.
Let me know your thoughts.

I've been staring at the sky tonight
Marvelling and passing time
Wondering what to do with daylight
Until I can make you mine
You are the one I want, you are the one I want

I've been thinking of changing my mind
It never stays the same for long
But of all the things I know for sure
You're the only certain one
You are the one I want, you are the one I want

I've been counting up all my wrongs
One sorry for each star
See I'd apologise my way to you
If the heavens stretched that far
You are the one I want, you are the one I want

I won't find what I am looking for
If I only "see" by keeping score
'Cos I know now you are so much more than arithmetic

'Cos if I add, if I subtract
If I give it all, try to take some back
I've forgotten the freedom that comes from the fact
That you are the sum
So you are the one
I want

When the years are showing on my face
And my strongest days are gone
When my heart and flesh depart this place
From a life that sung your song

You'll still be the one I want

You'll still be the one I want

You'll still be the one I want

You'll still be the one I want

Brooke Fraser in Concert!!

Last night I went to a Brooke Fraser concert at the House Of Blues in Dallas with some girlfriends. I had such a great time! How often do you get to go out kid free and enjoy great music??

Brooke Fraser is an amazing woman with much faith in our Lord. Her lyrics to her songs are powerful. Below are links to some of her songs.

One is very powerful- our church even sings it- its called "Hosanna"- she sings it with Hillsong. She wrote the lyrics though.

Another song called Albertine, she wrote for a child she met in Rwanda. She basically says "Now that I have seen, I am responsible, faith without deeds is dead" Pretty good!

Another of my favorites is Hosea's Wife...which if you know the story of Hosea, he was called to be faithful to an unfaithful woman to repsresent Gods unfailing love. This is a video of her in concert.

Hope you enjoy!
